Gather with UsÂ
A Different Kind of Business Gathering
This is not a traditional networking event.
We're not here to pitch, perform, or proving ourselves.
Lead As The Land Does is a community gathering of local businesses, leaders, and community members who care about how we grow, how we contribute, and how we lead.
Together, we explore how business can be done in harmony with the land ~ creating impact through conscious choices, meaningful contribution, and leadership that honours both people and the earth.
This is about connection over competition.
Relationship over transaction.
Long-term vision over short-term gain.
Â
Our Intention for the Day
Our intention is simple:
• To connect local businesses, leaders, and aligned community members
• To share wisdom through lived experience
• To create space for conscious conversation, learning, and collaboration
• To deepen our relationship with the land we live and work upon
We believe leadership is not separate from place.
The Earth teaches patience, cycles, interconnectedness, and care.
What would it look like to lead as the land does?
I am ready to be part of thisWhat We’ll Explore
Through a panel of speakers and facilitated conversation, we will share lived experience + insights around:
Leadership as Community Responsibility

Measuring Success Beyond Profit
Long-Term Vision Over Short-Term Gain
Healing-Centred Leadership
Conscious Choice as an Act of Leadership
Collaboration Over Competition
An Invitation to Ongoing Relationship
This is a space for honest conversation +Â learning from one another.
For building something grounded + longlasting.
A Not-For-Profit Community Event
This gathering has been created to build genuine community connection.
It is a not-for-profit event.
Any profit made will be donated to charities aligned with our shared community values, supporting organisations that are actively contributing to the wellbeing of our land and community.
The day is less about showcasing individual businesses, and more about the collective impact we can have — on the earth, within our communities, and through the way we choose to lead.

Meet Our Host Tara Power
~ Founder of Earth Mothers CommunityÂ
Â
Tara Power has spent the last decade exploring what it truly means to lead with integrity, presence, and heart. After years of trying to fit into the hustle-driven world of business ~ following trends, making decisions against her ethics and constantly burning out, Tara discovered a different way to lead: one that honours her energy, her values, and the communities she serves.
The intention of Lead as the Land Does reflects her desire to create spaces where leadership is practiced as a conscious, regenerative force. This includes collaboration at every level ~ because meaningful change and sustainable growth happen when we work together, share knowledge, and co-create with intention. The event invites participants to reflect on how we can lead people forward as a community, fostering health, wellbeing, belonging, and connection to the earth. Tara integrates these principles into her work because she believes leadership should give back rather than take away, leaving a legacy that uplifts communities, honours the land, and co-creates a healthier, more alive, and aligned world.
Today, Tara leads the Earth Mothers Community, a growing network of heart-centred leaders, creatives, and changemakers. Through workshops, mentoring, and community events like Lead as the Land Does, she hopes to guide others in cultivating sustainable leadership that honours people, planet, and purpose.
